Elliott AmQuip Corporation, formerly Elliott Crane Service, began doing business in 1964 with a total investment of $10,000.00 and a seven-ton boom truck. Cecil “Bud” Elliott quickly established his reputation as a knowledgeable and safety-minded crane operator having been familiar with construction equipment through working for his father’s company, Elliott Equipment Co. When his father, Cecil Elliott Sr. sold the equipment dealership, the then 23 year-old Bud Elliott decided to start a crane rental company which has grown into a multi-million dollar firm, and according to international publications, is ranked in the Top 60 in the world.
To better serve our customers' needs, Elliott Crane Service formed an alliance with AmQuip Corporation in August 2006 named Elliott AmQuip Corporation. This alliance improves our ability to provide more cranes, larger cranes, and tower cranes throughout the Southeast region of the United States. For your crane needs in other areas, AmQuip Corporation, which was founded by Joseph L. Elliott AmQuip Corporation’s fleet of cranes includes boom trucks, hydraulic truck cranes, rough terrains, conventional truck cranes, crawler cranes and tower cranes. Our fleet of cranes range from 7 1/2 to 550 tons.
